Mas Don has always been driven by his curiosity as well as his passion for fitness and endless creativity. The first heavy bag he created as a boy was simply a small canvas bag filled with sand that he hung from the ceiling of a one-car garage. Then, 29 years later he created the world's most complete hitting device - The Hit Fit® Training System. No other punching bag or hitting device on earth can offer the practicality, realism, and scientific backing that the Hit Fit® can.

 

The Hit Fit® Training System was issued its first patent 20 years ago. At the time, we received a $25,000 SBA grant for our award-winning business plan. At the Sporting Goods Manufacturing Association (SGMA) trade show in Las Vegas, the Hit Fit® Training System was voted to be one of the top best new fitness products in the world by Sports Edge Magazine. We received several endorsements, and all of them were given to us at no charge. Among the endorsers were martial arts icons such as Grand Master Jhoon Rhee and Guro Dan Insosanto. They, as well as everyone we introduced the system to, loved our innovative product.

Then suddenly overnight, disaster struck. We experienced a flood at the location where we did all of our testing and assembly for the Hit Fit®. We lost everything, including our supplies, equipment, and investments. Being a new business that had not yet approached the sales phase, our insurance would not honor the claim for losses. At this point, simply rebuilding was impossible.

The past 20 years have been more than challenging and holding on to the patent became increasingly difficult as patent maintenance fees continued to climb. What keeps us going is our belief that the Hit Fit® Training System is the most extraordinary heavy bag since the first one was invented more than 200 years ago.
